Nickel Alloy grades at a glance with ASTM specification and equivalent chart
Various types and grades characterise the nickel alloy spectrum, with commercially pure nickel alloys standing out by containing up to 99% nickel, tailored for specific application needs. The pricing of nickel alloys hinges on their compositions, and we can provide an updated pricelist to accommodate your requirements. Wrought from pure nickel, this alloy is versatile, applicable through cold drawing or hot rolling depending on the intended product and application. Its commendable mechanical properties include low vapour pressure, high thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity. Widely employed across industries like caustic alkalis, synthetic fiber manufacturing, food processing, and structural applications demanding maximum corrosion resistance, commercially pure nickel alloy finds utility in crafting corrosion-resistant, enduring piping. Its weldability and machinability further enhance its appeal.
In addition to nickel, pure nickel alloys incorporate trace elements such as iron, manganese, silicon, copper, and carbon in varying proportions depending on the alloy grade. In these alloys, these elements collectively constitute only about 1% of the content, with nickel comprising the majority. The strategic inclusion of these elements in nickel alloy applications ensures ductility, corrosion resistance, ease of welding and machining, as well as the ability to be hardened and manipulated. Nickel alloy products, available in forms such as pipes, plates, bars, strips, tubes, wires, and customised variations, cater to diverse industrial needs. As one of the largest nickel alloy stockists in India, we maintain a comprehensive inventory of various forms and types, including plates, pipes, and sheets.
